Visionary Art: An Exhibit from the Southern Arizona Friends of Jung

Joel D. Valdez Main Library invites you to view the work of six artists in an exhibit from the Southern Arizona Friends of Jung. The exhibit will be on display until December 29, 2023.

Visionary art begins by listening to the inner voices of the soul, and for Carl Jung this was facilitated by his practice of "active imagination."

“Art is a kind of innate drive that seizes a human being and makes him its instrument. The artist is not a person endowed with free will who seeks his own ends, but one who allows art to realize its purpose through him."
—Carl Jung
