An Addictive Game with a Dark Agenda

Erebos by Ursula Poznanski is a must-read for the teens out there that have an addiction to video games! 16-year old Nick is brought into a secret cult that plays an amazing game: Erebos. Filled with adventure and adrenaline, those who play never seem to be able to stop. There's only one rule: obey the game.

But as Nick goes deeper into Erebos, he soon realizes that this computer game holds a darker purpose; it knows his every move and forces him to do things that just don't seem to add up. Nick begins to realize that if he doesn't stop the game in time, there could be effects that carry into the real world.

I really enjoyed this book because it provided a creepy twist to playing a game that's become too smart. It was also interesting to see how the extent of this game has the ability to reach into the real world. The plot adds a dark, suspenseful theme that makes for a real page turner! I recommend Erebos to all teens!
