Vintage Halloween display at Eckstrom-Columbus Library

Eckstrom-Columbus Library invites you to an exhibit of vintage Halloween items from the collection of Drew Berns, on display until October 31.

Drew Berns first graduated with his bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer sciences from the University of Arizona, and later he completed his Masters degree.

He grew up in Michigan, the Great Lakes state, and moved to AZ in 1993.

As a child he loved Halloween, and all holidays, and decorating.

As he completed his graduate degree he began to teach history (at three different Arizona colleges). This led to his passion, and respect of historical items, and Halloween trends began to develop.

In his display are included items from the 1950s, 1970s, and the 1980s.
