In honor of Banned Books Week (October 4 - 10), come check out our display of Banned and Challenged Books. Each book in our display includes an explanation as to why it was banned or challenged.
The American Library Association (ALA) launched Banned Books week in 1982. This annual event highlights the value of free and open access to information and brings together the entire book community in shared support of the freedom to seek and to express ideas. We, at the Friends, are happy to support the ALA in their efforts.

This month, our Best of Friends display window features a curated selection of notable vintage vinyl records across popular genres including rock, pop, country, and soul.
Please park in the green areas on the map to the left, and not the red areas. This keeps traffic flowing and maintains space for neighboring businesses to operate smoothly.
