Art Exhibit ~ Megan Fujawa

Joel D Valdez Library invites you to an exhibit by Megan Fujawa on display until September 30, 2025.

Artist Statement:
Megan Fujawa, a newcomer to Tucson’s art scene, merges her passion for photography, background in engineering, and modern technology to produce innovative 3D printed art. As well as photographs of beautiful landscapes, sunsets and flowers, her artwork includes 3D sculpted vases and unique 3D printed lithophanes.  The lithophanes are derived from her photographs, and reveal distinctive images depending on lighting, akin to sun catchers.

After graduating from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Megan moved to Tucson over 30 years ago to start her first job at Honeywell Aerospace. It was there that she met Tim, her husband of 26 years, and years later they adopted their three sons, Russ, Bryan, and Brett, who were 10, 14, and 21 years old, respectively, when they joined their family. Four years after becoming a mother, she became a grandmother for the first time and now has six wonderful grandchildren ranging in ages from 14 months old to 13 years old.
