At Martha Cooper Library

A bigger library is here!

Martha Cooper Library has nearly doubled in size. The new 13,554 square foot building gives us more room to offer services to the community.

Indoor improvements

We've expanded the children's space, teens area, and programming rooms, and added study rooms. We also have a much larger space for books! You'll enjoy our expanded collection and comfortable places to read.

Outdoor improvements

The large meeting room connects to an outdoor, shaded meeting area with a sliding glass wall, allowing for large-scale indoor and outdoor events. Solar panels provide a shade structure with benches to use wifi in a shady spot. Our grass area out front is also bigger.

Movie Screening for AANHPI Month: To Climb a Gold Mountain

May 9th | 2:00pm - 4:00pm
This film explores the immigrant experience of four women of Asian descent living in America from the 1850s to present day.

Will you support our Hygiene Drive?

In partnership with the Pima County Health Department during Period Poverty Awareness Month, we're hosting a Hygiene Drive from May 4-30.

Sharing stories openly and vulnerably

Impactful books can help communicate to others that they are not alone, should they find themselves struggling with their mental health.

Polls, polls, polls!

Polling statistics can be complex and are sometimes used in a way to sway opinions rather than simply report on opinions.

Apply online for an eCard and get access to the great resources the Library has to offer!
