Murals at El Rio Neighborhood Center
El Rio Neighborhood Center has six murals on the exterior walls. The murals were created by artists Antonio Pazos, David Tineo and many others. They document and celebrate the Chicano movement of the 1970s and its impact on Tucson. In addition to the exterior murals, in 1997 the Tucson City Council commissioned additional murals for the main lobby. Stop by El Rio Neighborhood Center to see these socially influenced murals.
