Williams House in Tucson

The Williams house was located at 160 South Scott Avenue. This address later became the Scottish Rite Cathedral.

W.W. Williams was a merchant in Tucson. President Rutherford B. Hayes stayed at the Williams House sometime during his term of office. Rutherford B. Hayes did visit Tucson on October 24, 1880 - but we cannot confirm that this is the exact date he stayed in the Williams house.
