StoryCorps is coming to Tucson! You're invited to share YOUR STORY!
StoryCorps is one of the largest oral history projects ever undertaken in the United States. Conversations between loved ones, colleagues, and family members have been recorded and archived at the Library of Congress Folklife Center. Since 2005, the StoryCorps Mobile Tour has set out on road trips across the United States to collect stories from people in every corner of the country. Listen to some stories heard along the way.
Guess what? The mobile unit is coming to Tucson and you're invited to participate! Sessions will be held from October 8 through October 31 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. They will take place at 2685 S. Catalyst Drive, 85713. Visit the StoryCorps website to reserve your slot today.
StoryCorps is committed to the idea that everyone has an important story to tell and that everyone’s story matters. Their mission is to help us believe in each other by illuminating the humanity and possibility in us all — one story at a time. Since their founding in 2003, they've helped nearly 700,000 people across the country have meaningful conversations about their lives.
StoryCorps is an independent nonprofit, sharing select stories with the public through weekly broadcasts, our podcast, animated shorts, digital platforms, and best-selling books, including All There Is: Love Stories from StoryCorps.
