Food banks and pantries in Pima, Cochise, and Santa Cruz counties

Food insecurity is in the news and hunger is an issue for many of the children and adults in our community. Feeding America tracks food insecurity in the United States. According to their most recent data, 15.1% of Pima County Residents face food insecurity, as defined by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The current federal shutdown amplifies the need for food banks and pantries in Pima County.

Reporters at KGUN 9 compiled this list of food banks and pantries in southern Arizona which we are sharing here. Keep in mind that you may need to bring a photo ID and proof of residency when you go to collect food. Some programs have income or other criteria. Check the location’s website or call the location to confirm the details before you go.
