Sam Lena-South Tucson Library invites you to an exhibit by local artist Sandra Montgomery, on display until May 1, 2026.
Artist Statement:
Sandra F. Montgomery is a self-taught artist, painting with other skilled and talented artists for 25 years. She is a graduate of University of Arizona in Fine Arts, a member of Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild (SAWG), Tucson Barrio Painters, and Sonoran Plein Air Painters (SPAP).
"Thank you for viewing my art. I enjoy painting outside, but do a good deal of studio work. Please contact me for custom painting. I look forward to painting your idea, or interpreting a photograph on canvas or paper, in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pen, or ink. I also teach basic watercolor at various venues.
Another unique art form I practice is painting on glass. I collect old collectible windows and paint scenes on them for garden art or fine art. My website shows many of my painted windows."
