Kirk-Bear Canyon Library invites you to an exhibit by local artist Elizabeth Langley, on display until September 30, 2026.
Artist Statement:
Elizabeth Langley is an oil painter who uses single-point perspective, bold colors, geometric shapes and photorealistic styles. Interiors is a series featuring internal spaces – both the physical rooms portrayed, but also the psychological realm of the viewer. Inspired by luminescent light and sharp shadows, this work reimagines local haunts with art deco lines and colors. Each piece captures a moment in time, drawing viewers in with nostalgic shapes and textures, giving them permission to pause in the stillness, to remember, or to reflect.
