The Youth Health Action Team (YHAT) application is now live!

Are you 14–24 years old and ready to make an impact?

YHAT is looking for passionate young people who care about mental health, substance use prevention, and supporting their peers. This is your chance to connect with your community, collaborate with other youth, and turn your ideas into real projects that make a difference.

About YHAT:

The Youth Health Action Team (YHAT) is a youth-led volunteer group focused on building a diverse and inclusive community in Pima County. Supported by the Pima County Public Library, the Pima County Health Department, and the Pima Behavioral Health Coalition, YHAT empowers young people to take an active role in promoting mental and behavioral health. The team works to raise awareness about youth health and address ongoing challenges like mental health struggles and substance use.

As a YHAT member, you’ll help create engaging, youth-focused resources, like podcasts, posters, and research tools that are designed to support and connect with students and the broader community.

If you’re ready to share your voice, build new skills, and be part of something meaningful, apply today.
