Restroom Use and Gender Identity Guidelines

Pima County Public Library values and embraces our diverse patron base, and we strive to provide a safe environment for all patrons.

We accommodate requests to access restroom facilities that most align with a person's gender identification, regardless of restroom gender designation when facilities are gender-specific.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Directing a person to a family designated restroom or a single-use restroom where available.
• Allowing the person to use a gender designated restroom which most aligns with their gender identification.
