(Tucson, AZ) Calling all tweens and teens—it's time for the annual Worlds of Imagination Art Showcase. The Library is looking to recognize local, young artists for their 2D science fiction, fantasy, comics, or manga-style artwork.
The deadline to submit artwork is Monday, October 19, 2026. Submitted artwork shoud be no more than 9"x12" and participants can submit up to three pieces.
All entries will be displayed at Joel D Valdez Main Library in November 2026. There will be a reception for the artists and their families and guests at Joel D. Valdez Main Library (101 N. Stone Ave.) on Wednesday, November 4 from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. Refreshments will be served. Each artist will receive a certificate of participation.
It's easy to apply! Pick up an entry form at your local library or download and print one here. Each participant will need to have a parent or guardian fill out a Consent to Use form in order for images of their art to be featured online.
