Suspending Holds in Libby/OverDrive

Suspending a hold lets you keep your place in line for a title until you're ready to read it. Here are links to instructions for suspending holds in the Libby app and on the OverDrive website.

When you're ready, you can unsuspend your hold. After unsuspending your hold, it will be delivered when you reach the top of the wait list.

If you miss the pickup window for a hold, the hold will be automatically suspended for you. When you're ready to borrow it, you can unsuspend the hold. Any hold that is suspended for 365 days will be canceled. When you unsuspend a hold and it becomes available, you will receive another notice. You will have 72 hours to borrow it. If you miss the second pickup window, the hold will be canceled.
