Roy Laos Transit Center – Origin of Name

This transit center is named after Roy Laos Senior. He started a bus company in 1924 that served the south and west sides. His bus was first known as "La Tranvia de Laos." The bus system operated for 50 years before it became part of Sun Tran. The Laos Transit Center is at 205 West Irvington Road.
