E-Waste

E-waste is for NONWORKING electronic equipment. If you have NONWORKING computers, cell phones, televisions or other electronics, do not throw them in the trash. Most charities and other agencies only accept WORKING electronics.

Grumper Electronics offers computer and electronics recycling services for residential and commercial needs. They take in most computer electronics, including cathode ray tube (CRT) televisions. Some fees apply.

Los Reales Landfill will accept most types of household waste. It is also a satellite collection site for the Tucson Household Hazardous Waste Program. including hazardous household waste (HHW) items such as computers, antifreeze, batteries, oil, paint etc.

Tucson/Pima County Household Hazardous Waste Program (HHW Program), is "a joint project between the City of Tucson and Pima County, is designed to collect household hazardous waste from residents of our community. The HHW Program is operated by the City of Tucson." Large quantities should be taken to the Sweetwater location.
