A platinum anniversary for Oro Valley Public Library!

Pima County Public Library, The Town of Oro Valley, and the Friends of the Oro Valley Public Library are excited to celebrate Oro Valley Public Library's 20th anniversary event on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from 11 am to 4 pm. Stop by for one or all of the planned programs!

11 am to noon

  • Listen to a performance by harpist Rebecca Reinhard Foreman.
  • Enjoy coffee, tea, and pastries.

Noon to 1 pm

  • Share stories about the library with Friends of the Oro Valley Public Library Charter Lifetime Members and FOVPL Lifetime Members.

1 to 3 pm

  • Have fun at a family-friendly anniversary crafternoon.

3 to 4 pm

  • Gather to hear remarks from special guest speakers:    
    • Rex Scott, Pima County Supervisor, District 1
      Dr. Francisco García, Deputy County Administrator
      Joe Winfield, Mayor, Town of Oro Valley
      Melanie Barrett, Vice Mayor, Town of Oro Valley
      Chris Cornelison, Assistant Town Manager, Town of Oro Valley
  • Tune in to a live performance by the Cynthia Hilts Jazz Trio.
  • Celebrate with cake, snacks, and refreshments.
