This presentation will focus on:
• What research shows leads to organizational effectiveness in three key areas: AdaptiveCapacity, Leadership, and Management Practices.
• How local funders can invest in targeted capacity building based on national research on organizational effectiveness.

Peter York is Senior Partner and Chief Research and Learning Officer at TCC Group, a national consulting group that studies the effectiveness and sustainability of nonprofit organizations. TCC has developed a simple tool that nonprofits can use to assess their strengths and weaknesses. The information gathered from thousands of these assessments was then used to develop a Sustainability Formula that provides critical new information about the organizations we fund.

Peter will present what TCC Group has learned that makes a nonprofit effective and sustainable and how you, the funder, can help build and maintain strong, resilient nonprofits.
