The Pride Team presents Kianna Alexander!

(Tucson, AZ) Pima County Public Library's Pride Team is happy to host the annual LGBTQ+ Author Talk, this time with romance author Kianna Alexander!

This year's event will be held at The Loft Cinema, where Kianna will be in conversation with Jessica P. Pryde, PCPL librarian and author of Black Love Matters. The conversation will be followed by a Q&A and a book signing with book sales by Mostly Books.

Sunday, October 22 from 5 to 6:30 pm
The Loft Cinema, 3233 E. Speedway Blvd.

This event will be held in the Garage Theater (Screen 3).

Kianna Alexander is the author of more than 50 romance novels, but has only recently been able to write about what she really always wanted to explore: queer Black women. Her most recent novels, Can't Resist Her and Can't Let Her Go, both focus on the lives and loves of Black sapphics, offering the same Happily Ever After more often offered to other groups in romance. And, with Carolina Built, Kianna stretches her historian legs and digs into the life of Black real estate magnate Josephine N. Leary.

Come to The Loft Cinema on October 22 for a celebration of love, life, and pride!

Please note, ASL interpretation will be available for this event. Registration is not required.
