About the Information Power for Small Business Workshop
This program is presented by Pima Community College Small Business Development Center and the Pima County Public Library.
Registration is required. Register online or call the Joel D. Valdez Main Library receptionist at 594-5500 weekdays 9 am to 5 pm.
Location: Lower Level 1 Meeting Room, Joel D. Valdez Main Library. Directions and parking information.
Thinking of starting a business or expanding an existing business? Learn how to use market analysis for developing a winning business strategy. Discover sources you can use for locating suppliers and competitors, identifying potential customers and tracking industry trends.

SCORE at PCPL
Learn about small business loans, opening a business, selling to the government, and time-tested strategies for developing your enterprise. Business counselors from SCORE will provide free, one-on-one small business counseling. See upcoming dates below.
- Downtown Tucson: Third Thursdays, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.,on the 3rd floor of the Joel D. Valdez Main Library. No appointment necessary.
- Northwest Tucson: Mondays, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Nanini Branch Library. Call 791-4626 to make an appointment. All sessions meet for one hour in the Conference Room.
- Oro Valley: Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Oro Valley Public Library. Call 229-5300 to schedule an appointment.
- East: Tuesdays every three months on scheduled dates (see calendar), 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m., at the Murphy-Wilmot Branch Library. Registration begins at 5:45 p.m.
