Wireless Printing

The Library offers FREE wifi at all of our locations during open hours.

Wireless printing is available for laptops, not tablets or smartphones. All libraries offer wireless printing except Salazar-Ajo Library.

Cost for Wireless Printing

Printing costs 10 cents per page.

How to Print from Your Laptop

Minimum Requirements

  • Mac: OS 10.7 or higher
  • PC: Windows XP, Vista, or 7

First-Time Users

  • If you have never logged into a public PC at our libraries, you will need to get a guest pass from the desk to use wireless printing.
  • Install print drivers necessary for printing:
  • Click Yes to download and Run.
  • A small window will appear on the bottom right corner of your desktop.
  • Click on Start Print Session.
  • Enter your library card number or guest pass number and PIN.
  • Click the library name where you are located.
  • Click OK.
  • A status bar will appear that indicates your laptop is downloading the wireless print drivers. This will take a few minutes.
  • Once that is complete, print jobs you send from your laptop can be retrieved at the Print Release Station.

Returning Users

  • Go to Start --> Programs --> Wireless Library Print System --> Wireless Print System.
    (If you are running Windows 7 or Vista, you must right-click on Wireless Print System and select the "Run as Administrator" option).
  • A small window will appear on the bottom right corner of your desktop.
  • Click on Start Print Session.
  • Enter your library card number and PIN.
  • Click the library name where you are located.
  • Click OK.
  • A status bar will appear that indicates your laptop is downloading the wireless print drivers. This will take a few minutes.
  • Once that is complete, print jobs you send from your laptop can be retrieved at the Print Release Station.

Uninstalling the Print Module from Your Laptop

If you no longer need to print wirelessly at the library, you may uninstall the print module from your laptop.

  • Go to Start --> Programs --> Wireless Library Print System --> Uninstall Wireless Library Print System.

This will completely remove the print module.
