(Tucson, AZ) Kirk-Bear Canyon Library and Himmel Park Library will be closed temporarily beginning March 15 and March 17, respectively.
Kirk-Bear Canyon will be closed beginning Wednesday, March 15 through Sunday, March 19. The library will reopen on Monday, March 20 at 10 am. During the closure, this library will receive new shelving and additional furniture.
Customers are encouraged to visit nearby libraries:
- Murphy-Wilmot Library, 530 N. Wilmot Rd.
- Dusenberry-River Library, 5605 E. River Rd., Ste. 105
- Miller-Golf Links Library, 9640 E. Golf Links Rd.
Himmel Park Library will be closed Friday, March 17 through Monday, March 20. The library will reopen on Tuesday, March 21 at 10 am. During the closure, this library will receive a new service desk to better assist customers.
Customers are encouraged to visit nearby libraries:
- Joel D. Valdez Main Library, 101 N. Stone Ave.
- Eckstrom-Columbus Library, 4350 E. 22nd St.
The E-Library, which offers streaming movies and TV, music, eBooks and audiobooks, and much more, is still available while libraries are closed.
