Library Offers Free Programs to Complement 3rd Annual TENWEST Festival

(TUCSON, Ariz.) – The Joel D. Valdez Main Library is proud to offer a series of events coinciding with the annual TENWEST Festival. A dynamic weeklong celebration of arts, entrepreneurship, community, and technology, TENWEST provides an opportunity to explore the unique attributes that make Tucson extraordinary.

Throughout the festival, Pima County Public Library will offer more than a dozen free programs at Joel D. Valdez Main Library exploring the many topics that drive and inspire community members, from business startups to sustainable gardening.

Librarian Betsy Langley says, “The goals of TENWEST Festival align perfectly with the Library’s mission to educate, inspire, and connect people. We’re proud to offer these programs because we believe they can really open the door to people who may not know about all the Library has to offer for entrepreneurs, artists, and innovators.”

TENWEST Festival-inspired programs will be held at Joel D. Valdez Main Library (unless otherwise noted) between October 14 and October 21. Some events require advance registration. Please visit the Library’s website for more information.
