(TUCSON, Ariz.) – Multiple facility projects are ongoing through June 2017 at the Joyner-Green Valley Library. Among the upgrades, the Library will receive new, energy-efficient lighting and gain an additional 75 parking spots. The wall tile in the large meeting room will be replaced and the walls will be repainted.
For more information about these upgrades, please see this April 12 news release.
The project also includes recarpeting the Library, which will require a temporary closure between Wednesday, May 17 and Friday, May 19.
For these three days, the return book chute will be closed and reserves will be unavailable for pick up. Reserves will be held an extra few days past the closure so that customers have their full seven open days to pick them up.
The Joyner-Green Valley Library is expected to reopen on Saturday, May 20, just in time for the start of Summer Reading, which runs through July 15.
