What are you doing for College Prep Week?

Calling all high school students!

College Prep Week will be in full swing at Joel D. Valdez Main Library in the 101 Space, starting July 17.

Every day for the entire week, plus bonus Python classes starting July 10, we're hosting events that help students learn skills useful in high school and beyond. Registration's required, so sign up now before all the slots fill up!

Python Programming

July 10-13, 9am-noon

Python is one of the simplest and most popular coding languages in the world, used at companies like Google and NASA. Come find out why and learn the basics of object-oriented programming. Beginners encouraged!

Life Skills

July 17, 9am-noon

Learn how to effectively deal with the challenges of everyday life. These are skills that you don't learn in school and will help you be a well-rounded, successful person.

Job Skills

July 17, 1-4pm

The world of work is constantly changing. Get a sense of what skills you might want to start investing your time into developing, and be better prepared for your future.

SAT Prep

July 18, 9am-3pm

Learn testing skills to overcome your test anxiety, figure out how to determine the right answer and stay on time with the SAT. Additional resources and test prep material will also be provided to ensure that you ace that test! Plus, FREE LUNCH.

ACT Prep

July 19, 9am-3pm

Financial Skills

July 20, 9am-noon

Learn all about finances, budgeting and banking from our experts. Come with questions!

College Prep Day

July 22, 10am- 2pm

Meet college recruiters from UA, ASU, NAU and PCC, and attend mini workshops on topics like financial aid, admissions, and scholarships.
