Our Nuestras Raíces committee has been working hard all year to bring an astounding array of Mexican-American and Latinx authors to the Library tent. Don't miss Tim Z. Hernandez, Julissa Arce, US Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera, Arizona Poet Laureate Alberto Álvaro Ríos,  Álvaro Enrigue, Luis Alberto Urrea, Yuyi Morales (find out where to start with our ¡Viva Yuyi! list!), and many more!

Teen Plaza

An entire new plaza is opening this year,  just for teens. It's the place to hear amazing writers, make cool stuff in the Teen Activity Tent, and check out an author-led writing workshop. Stop by at the Free Book Giveaway before heading over to the Teen After-Hours Party to hear your favorite local bands!

Activities for Kids and Families

Visit the Library's tent on Saturday or Sunday anytime between 11am and 3pm for a fun time with your kids.

On Saturday, your kids can search for the letters of their names on landmarks from Tucson's iconic south side, with author Alexandra Jimenez. Her book, Abecedario del Sur, inspired this fun seek-and-find event. Find out more.

On Sunday, the Library's Seed Library will help kids decorate  packets full of seeds that they can take home and plant. Find out more.

Bookmobile and Bookbike

A new look for the Bookmobile
Our newly remodeled Bookmobile

As always, our Bookmobile and Bookbike will make their way over to UA Mall and join the festivities.

While supplies last, pick up a free book from the Bookbike.

Bring your library card to check out items from the Bookmobile, which has recently been remodeled and now has wifi and laptops!

Meet Writers-in-Residence at the Bookmobile Too

The Library's popular Writers-in-Residence program returns in March. Come meet this year's writers at the Festival!

Sunday, March 12, 10am-1pm
