a saguaro forest with mountains in the backgroundDiscover the beauty of Arizona and pick up your free one time day use park pass at any library (while supplies last).

Visit more than 30 parks across the state, including some in our own backyard: Catalina, Oracle, and Picacho Peak State Parks. Other parks are within a day’s drive: Lake Havasu State Park, Slide Rock State Park, and Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park. Explore lakes and caves, hike trails, climb mountains, discover history, learn something new! You choose your adventure while satisfying your wanderlust! Find your park by visiting AZStateParks.com. Passes are good through 12/31/17 for one adult and one youth at parks with “per person” fee or one vehicle at parks with “per vehicle” fee.

Before you head out on your adventure, see our list of books, Arizona Camping & Hiking Fun for Families! and check out a great book to take with you! Plus, choose from hundreds of events at the library all summer long, and explore many fun topics from the night sky to desert wildlife!

Pima County Public Library appreciates the generous donation of park passes (valued up to $45) to our families, courtesy of the Arizona State Library and Arizona State Parks & Trails in support of our Summer Reading Program.
