Whether it is your dream to become an engineer or if you love crafting and art, the Oro Valley Public Library’s Teen 101Space has you covered. Quite a few teens have noticed the 3D printers at the Oro Valley Public Library’s Teen 101Space, but we have even more tech and tools available for personal projects. Beginning April 5th from 3pm-5pm on Thursdays, the Teen 101Space will host Open Lab hours. During Open Lab teens can use our Button Maker, Vinyl Cutter, Ozobots, Sprout, and –of course— our 3D Printers!
Don’t know how to use the 3D Printer, Button Maker, or any of our equipment? No previous knowledge is required! All teens can explore the tools and equipment for free during the 101Space Open Lab Hours. Staff and teen volunteers will be there to get you started and give tutorials. Open Hours are designed so that our community’s youth can discover creativity and engage in personal-driven learning. The 101Space is a place to try hobbies, learn new things, and play around with cool technology. All teens are welcome to try out the 101Space’s equipment on Thursdays from 3-5 pm starting April 5th.
