  • Sign up for the Summer Learning Program
  • Meet Curious George
  • Enjoy live action stories and craft activities
  • Browse the Bookmobile for books to borrow

School is out, you miss your friends, and you're bored. Pima County Public Library is having a Field Day!

There will be relay races and games, giant bounce castles and interactive sports demonstrations. It's a free, all ages party at the library to celebrate Summer Reading. Challenge yourself to try new things, talk to local community organizations about the benefits of health and fitness, and get out and MOVE!

Kids, pick up your Summer Learning gameboard and go for the gold all summer long!

  • Read 20 minutes a day and get stickers to mark your progress.
  • Pick up a FREE book the week of May 31, while supplies last.
  • Complete the activities on your gameboard as you read to become a library superstar!

Be sure to use the Reid Park Zoo coupon on your gameboard to visit Nandi, the baby elephant! And don’t forget to come back to your library starting June 16 to get your special invitation to the zoo celebration we’re having at Reid Park Zoo on July 16.

Read 15 hours or more over the summer to get a second FREE book, starting July 5, while supplies last.
