Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month Online!

We're halfway through Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month, and there are still lots of things you can do or check out online!

Is your family from Mexico? Come into any library to log onto Ancestry for free, and find millions of searchable records from the 1800s to the present. Records aren't limited to North America, either;

Read biographies of tons of Hispanic Americans on Biography in Context. Read about artists like Lin-Manuel Miranda and great historic figures like Dolores Huerta, all in the same place.

Did you or your family come to the US from another country? Read up on it in CultureGrams! You can search for a country or just click around on the map, and then you’ll be able to read about the nation’s history and culture!

cover of Santana The Columbia Studios Album CollectionGo on Freegal Music and listen to famous Latinx artists across the history of modern music!

Or read up on the current issues facing the United States and its relationship with Latin America via Global Issues in Context.

Want to stay at the top of style? Check out Vogue Mexico and other magazines in Spanish.

And check out the beautiful site produced in partnership by the Library Of Congress, National Archives, and many other US Government partners.

How are you celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month?
