Tucson Festival of Books is March 4 and 5, 2023! While you're there, don't miss the Library's Teen Tent! We're also continuing the Teen-Author Interview program!
The Teen Tent will be open both days of the Festival on the University of Arizona campus. Every teen who visits the tent will get one free book to take home, and a chance to play giant games and make buttons.
Visiting artist Catherine Eyde will also facilitate a glass magnet craft in the Teen Tent during the following hours:
- Saturday March 4, from 10am - 3pm and
- Sunday March 5, from 10am - 2pm.
We have an exciting lineup of Teen-Author Interviews during the Festival!
Each year, local youth get a chance to interview visiting authors after reading their books and preparing questions beforehand. The list of authors this year is incredible, and we have seven author interviews planned with area schools and teen advisory groups. These interviews will be recorded and then posted on Pima County Public Library’s YouTube channel and SoundCloud page, and also the Tucson Festival of Books page.
Authors being interviewed this year are:
Adam Rex
Teen members of Woods Memorial Library's Health Action Team will read Digestion!: The Musical before interviewing Rex.
