Get Homework Help at Your Local Library

August is back-to-school for most students, and we'd like to remind you to come to your local library for Homework Help!

Homework Help in the library branches, our free tutoring program for students in 4th through 12 grades, starts Monday, August 25. Fall tutoring sessions will continue through May 14, 2009.

Become a Reading Coach

Reading Seed's mission is to have all children in Pima County schools reading at or above grade level by the end of third grade.

The 2008 school year will be our 14th year making a difference in the lives of our community's children. To further this goal, we need more Reading Coaches to fill the needs of the many schools requesting our volunteers.

Celebrate Tucson's Birthday!

Celebrate Tucson's 233rd birthday during August at your local library!

Free Citizenship Classes

Now is the time to realize your dream of becoming a United States citizen. The library is partnering with Pima Community College Adult Education to offer free citizenship preparation classes to help you.

Voting Information at Your Library

Register to vote, learn more about voting and get information on the issues and candidates you'll see on the ballot in November. The League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson is hosting Election Centers at libraries starting Tuesday, July 8 through the November general election.

Make it your library. Tell us how!

You can help determine what events and services you'll see at your branch library over the next 3 years.
