The Library offers FREE computer use. Please be sure to bring your library card! Don't have a card?

Different branches have different session and time limitations.
Please check your individual branch for more information.

Read the Computer and WiFi Use Agreement [PDF] before you use one of our library computers.

  • WinWay Resume
  • Windows Media Player, Quicktime, and Real Player

ADA computers have Wynn Reader, Zoomtext, Duxbury Braille, Dragon and Jaws, and are located at Joel D. Valdez Main, Green Valley Branch, and Mission Branch Libraries.

Are there restrictions on what I can view?/Are the computers filtered?

Yes, the filtering system filters sites based on the age of the user. Requests to unblock a website that is currently filtered by the system can be submitted using the Contact Us form. Read more about the filtering system.

Can I save my work?

Yes. Please bring a flash drive (portable USB drive) to save your work. No computers have 3.5" floppy disk drives.

How do I reserve a computer for a specific date and time?

You must come into the library to make the reservation, up to three days in advance. No phone calls, please.

How much does it cost to print?

Printing costs 10¢ a page, black and white only; our printers take coins or $1 bills.

Is computer assistance available?

While some assistance and training is available, users assume full responsibility for learning to use the equipment and the programs. We encourage you to bring someone with you if you are not familiar with using computers. Additionally, the library offers computer classes at various locations. Check the Computer Classes page for a complete listing of classes.

Please note:

Computers can only be reserved in person. No phone calls.
