Nuestras Raíces will showcase Mexican-American authors, arts and culture through a variety of interactive presentations and workshops.

Over the two days of the Festival, visit our tent for author presentations, crafts for families, and the Youth Mariachi Showcase.

The Nuestras Raíces Youth Mariachi Showcase (Main Entertainment Stage) will feature incredibly talented young musicians from Southern Arizona.

Get on the bus! Stop by the Library's Bookmobile to get a card, check out some books or DVDs or return your items.

Pima County Public Library's Bookbike

The Bookbike provides books and information about library and literacy programs, library cards as well as bike maps and information about bicycling events. The books are free gifts to the community.

The Best of the Southwest

Southwest Books of the Year, a publication funded by the Friends of Pima County Public Library, annually presents a list of the best books written about the Southwest during the year. Meet several of the authors whose books are featured in Southwest Books of the Year.

Friends of the Pima County Public Library

The Friends of the Pima County Public Library will sell books and other media from their tent in the main area of the festival and in the children's area. You'll find bargains on books, CDs, and DVDs.

The "Friends" benefit the community by supporting the library in a variety of ways, including the library's annual Summer Reading program, since they were formed 40 years ago. (Booth #149–151)

Pima Library Foundation

Great library programs like Homework Help, Read-to-a-Dog, Teen Tech Tutors and others rely heavily on supplentary funding from Pima Library Foundation (PLF).

The Foundation's Circle of Book Clubs literary events have featured prominent authors and speakers such as Becky Masterman, Julie Robinson, Cathy Marie Buchanan, Bonnie Marson, Jennifer Carrell, Nancy Turner, Diana Gabaldon, J. A. Jance, and many others representing a wide variety of literary genres. (Booth #153)

TFOB for Teens — Author Interviews

Teens representing area high schools will interview authors Chris Crutcher, Matt De La Pena, Cornelia Funke, Lois Lowry, and R.L. Stine.
