When it's hot outside, the Library is the coolest place to be. The theme for this year's teen Summer Reading Program is Spark a Reaction. It's open to teens ages 12-18 or in Grades 6-12.
How to Ignite Your Summer1.Pick up your Spark a Reaction flowchart at your library between May 22 and July 18 and start reading. Find your nearest library.
2.Come to summer events.
3.Summer Reading is online too. You can participate online to track your reading.
4. Check out our recommended reads and the free-to-keep audiobook downloads from SYNC.

Do you listen to your books?If that's the case then you'll want to hear about SYNC. SYNC is giving away 2 free audiobook downloads to teens each week.
Sounds great! How does it work?SYNC works with the Overdrive Media Console so if you haven't already used Overdrive audiobooks through the library you can download the software here or, for mobile devices, check your app store for the Overdrive Media Console app.
Then, each week, May 15 through August 13, go to the SYNC website to download your free audiobooks. If you're wondering about what books they'll be giving away, you can see the list here.
