GovBenefits.gov: One way to find out what benefits you may be entitled to. Click on the general government program in which you are interested, and answer a few questions. The web page then gives you a list of benefits for which you may be eligible, and links that can give you more information.
Government Benefits, Grants, and Financial Aid: A quick way to check for government benefits, grants, pensions, Social Security, Medicaid, etc.
Government May Owe You Money: For those who believe that they may be owed money by the government (for federally insured mortgages, pensions from failed companies, savings bonds, settlements from class action suits by federal employees, etc.).
Housing - HUD Resources for Individuals: List of programs from the federal government, including lower-interest mortgages, mortgage guarantees, HUD homes and counseling.
Pima County Community Services - Community Action Agency: Pima County offers services that help with prescription medication and supplies, minor home repair, rental/mortgage assistance to avoid eviction/foreclosure, special needs, support services, food and nutrition, help with utilities: energy, water, repair and deposits.
