Represent your fandom at the 9th annual MegaMania!

(TUCSON, Ariz.) – We’re gearing up for MegaMania!, the annual all ages, free summer festival of cosplay, gaming, crafts, local authors and artists, and all-around geekery. If you only go to one event this summer, THIS should be the one!

  • Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 1–5 pm
    Pima Community College Downtown Campus
    1255 N. Stone Ave (map)

Gather your friends, family, neighbors, teachers—everyone!—and come join your Library friends for an afternoon of imagination-igniting activities.

  • Craft your own cosplay costume and enter our annual Cosplay Contest
  • Play MineCraft and Fortnite in the Gamer's Den
  • Use teamwork and puzzle-solving skills in Escape Room
  • Cheer your favorite robot in the Robot Battle Arena
  • Strike a pose in our MegaMania! photo booth
  • Take workshops from award-winning authors and artists
  • and so much more!

Don’t have a cosplay costume at home? We’ve got you covered! We’ll bring the supplies and helping hands—all you have to do is bring your ideas. Don’t forget the Cosplay Showcase where you can watch your favorite characters come to life on stage. The showcase is open to cosplayers of all levels and abilities, for costumes worn to MegaMania! or made there.

Did we mention it’s ALL FREE? That includes pizza (thanks to our generous friends at Brooklyn Pizza Co.), drinks, and snacks in the Cantina!

MegaMania! is made possible through generous partnerships with the Friends of the Pima County Public Library, Pima Community College, the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, and Brooklyn Pizza Company.
