Fantastic in Word and Image: Author and Artist Workshops and Contests

Learn the craft of writing and illustrating science fiction and fantasy from authors like Walter Jon Williams, author of City on Fire, and comic book author Adam Beechen, known for his work on Justice League and Robin, during three, half-day Saturday workshops at branch libraries beginning September 20.

Once you've written that stunning science fiction, fantasy, horror or magical realism short story, enter it in the TusCon 35 short story contest. And, teens, you can participate in the Fantastic Art Contest.

Become a Reading Coach

The 2008 school year is Reading Seed's 14th year making a difference in the lives of our community's children by helping them learn to read. To further this goal, they need more Reading Coaches to fill the needs of the many schools requesting volunteers.
