What's Happening at Santa Rosa Branch?

Website Maintenance on Sunday, July 20

On Sunday, July 20, we will perform maintenance on the library websites lasting approximately until noon (12 pm). Several services will not be available intermittently.

Check out Santa Rosa's New Science Club!

Have you ever seen a raisin dance? How about a bubble bomb?

Join us for quick, hands-on science experiments on Fridays at 2:30 pm at the Santa Rosa Branch Library.

There will be plenty of entertainment and occasional laughter is guaranteed. Kids of all ages are welcome.

Summer Movies at the Loft Cinema

Join us for two amazing movies in July at The Loft Cinema, 3233 E. Speedway Blvd. And before you go, join a book club at your local library or attend a special Storytime and learn more about the books that inspired the movies!

Make it your library. Tell us how!

You can help determine what events and services you'll see at your branch library over the next 3 years.

Summer Reading Programs for Kids, Teens and Adults

You've got until July 19 to read your way to a whole host of prizes and incentives during our Summer Reading campaign for kids, teens and adults!

Pick up a copy of our Summer Reading Events calendar at your library, or cruise our online Calendar. You can choose from more than 60 exciting programs featuring all kinds of desert creatures, puppet shows and bug-related crafts for preschoolers to adults held at our 25 locations.
