Rivers that flow north
There are several rivers that flow north. You will find a list at: http://www.geocities.com/loisnotlane/rivers.html
The Santa Cruz is one of the north flowing rivers. The Santa Cruz River begins near the border, loops south into Sonora for a little, and flows north and northwest through Tucson and into the Gila near Phoenix. This river, like other rivers in desert areas, appears dry much of the time, but fills with water when it rains and can even flood after heavy rainfall.
