Butterflies That Appear During the Monsoon Season
Depending on the intensity of summer rains the Lyside Sulphur Butterflies can be seen flying in the Tucson area. These butterflies are 1 ¼ to 2 inches big. Their color can be a whitish or greenish with yellow. These butterflies do not appear with every monsoon.
