Augie Acua's Los Ninos Park--Origin of Name

Augie Acua was a former professional baseball player.  He worked as a local umpire and referee for the Pima County Parks and Recreation Department for more than 34 years. A Pima County Park was named after him when he retired in 1981. The park is located at 5432 S. Bryant Avenue. The telephone number is 574-0222.
