UFO Sightings Reported in Tucson

This list consists of UFO sightings mentioned in the local newspapers and local media.  It is not a definitive list of all Tucson UFO sightings. 

September 23, 2010.  There were strange lights over the southwest side of Tucson.  The lights were described as 3-5 lights in a triangle shape.****
September 13, 2010. Around 1 p.m. a tiny bright blue dot appeared in the sky over east Tucson. ***
February 2005--South Mission and West Irvington Roads.
September 2004 --North La Cholla Boulevard and Ruthraff Road.
March 2003--Above the Catalinas.
September 2002--North Thornydale and West Magee Roads.
July 2000--Large triangle spotted over Davis-Monthan AFB.
May 2000--Picture Rocks.
October 1999--Over Twin Peaks.
February 7, 1986--Droning sounds and a series of colored lights in Avra Valley.
October 7, 1985. --Federal Aviation radar operators at Tucson International Airport reported tracking 15 groups of aircraft, at least 60 in all, as they flew from the Avra Valley area in the southwest across the city, and out through Reddington Pass.
October 1967 --Hovering craft near East Speedway and North Harrison Road.
May 1966-- Reports of orange UFOs over Tucson. (Later explained as a missile firing in California.)
1962 --Brilliant light descending on a Titan II missile silo reported by a Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Crew.
August 7, 1952--Davis-Monthan was receiving reports of "flying saucer" sightings at 8 p.m. on August 6 continuing through 3 a.m. on August 7, 1952.
November 1951--Reports of a "blue-tailed ball of fire."
