Red Hot Pepper Jelly -- Recipe
¼ Cup ground red hot peppers
¾ Cup ground sweet green peppers
6 ½ Cups sugar
1 ½ cups apple cider
1 (6 ounce) bottle liquid pectin
Grind peppers, using fine cutter or grinder. Mix peppers, sugar and cider, bring to a boil. Boil hard for one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add pectin, and alternately skim and stir the jelly for five minutes. Pour into hot, sterilized glasses or jars and seal.
