Exotic Species—Pima County

Exotic species are non-native to Pima County and were not in here originally.  Such species adversely affect habitat, and can transform habitats over a 5-25 year scale.  They can cause economic loss to ranchers and farmers. Exotic species are also known as invasive species or pest species. (This is a partial list.)

  • Bullfrog
  • Crayfish
  • Fountain grass
  • Green Sunfish
  • Red Brome
