Federal Citizen Information Center

The Federal Consumer Information Center has been renamed; it is now called the Federal Citizen Information Center.

According to the Center's website, "[t]he Federal Citizen Information Center (FCIC) has been a trusted one-stop source for answers to questions about consumer problems and government services."

You can order the Consumer Action Handbook, which provides consumers with contact information to "hundreds of companies and trade associations, local, state, and federal government agencies, national consumer organizations, and more," or the Consumer Information Catalog, which "lists approximately 200 free and low-cost publications available to you from various federal agencies." For more information concerning either publication, visit: publications.usa.gov/USAPubs.php
