Butterfield Stage—Tucson Route
The Butterfield State had a route through Southern Arizona from July 1857 to March 1861. The Butterfield’s station was in the northwest corner of Tucson. One of Tucson’s restaurants is built on the remains of the station. The restaurant is Lil Abner's steakhouse at 8501 N. Silverbell Road.
