The Friends of the Pima County Public Library is a non-profit organization which was founded in 1969. Its purposes is to raise money for special and innovative library programs, services, and equipment which are not included as part of the normal annual budget. This funding is raised through the sale of books, memberships, and grants.
In addition to hosting book sales at the Friends book barn at 2230 N. Country Club Road, the Friends also sell books online year round and through book carts at various library locations.
